Ethan is 2 months old

ethan made 2 months last week. he's getting chubby, i see him everyday and i even notice the changes. he really likes to take a bath. when he was smaller he used to cry and move around. now he just lays there and makes funny faces while in the water. michelle has been taking ethan out now and then, mostly to the malls. everytime he sleeps, i'm told. he likes to sleep, just like dad. and gets bored at shopping, just like dad. check out the new pictures.

Good Bye Kobe.......

very sad news for us this past week, our beloved cockatiel "kobe" died this past sunday morning, he was about 5 years old. according to the doctor he had an infection. by the time he showed his condition it was too late. we gave some medicine, but the infection was too much for him. he died sunday morning in my hand. he was michelle's bird, but he liked me the best. he was very affectionate, kinda like a dog sometimes. he could whistle and say his name. we miss kobe very much.

5 weeks old

ethan is 5 weeks old now and getting bigger. his cheeks are filling out and he's getting longer. he has a slight cold right now, stuffy nose and a cough. i think daddy gave it to him. ethan also just stepped up to size 1 diapers. he goes to the doctor this friday for his one month check up.

5 days old

Ethan is 5 days old now. eating well, sleeping well, pooping well, you get the picture. he cries when his diaper needs changing or he's hungry. other than that, he's been pretty good, not too whinny. his suzuki grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousin russ won came last night. they all love him, remember this is the first grandchild for both sides. i think he's going to be one spoiled kid. check out the updated pics from last night.

Ethan Ken Suzuki is Born!

Michelle and I would like to announce the birth of our new son, Ethan Ken Suzuki. He was suppose to be named Kareem Abdul Suzuki, by a recommendation from our friend Kyle Kamakura. But that did not work with Michelle. Being a lifelong Laker fan, I dug it, but whatever, now he's Ethan. well, here's the stats, born 2-24-09, at 1:50 pm, 6 lbs(5 and 15.9 oz's to be exact), he was born a week early. Labor was kind of long but Michelle didn't give up and pulled thru like a champ. Everything went well after, Ethan is doing well and Michelle is fine but needs to heal a little. They say it's common for women to go thru what Michelle is going thru. anyway, we're back home today and since I'm having sleepless nights, I figure I update all my facebook and blog stuff. see the pics. Sunday update 2-22-09

No baby yet, 9 days till the due date. doctor said looks like it might go all the way. so keep checking back for updates. michelle wanted me to post a pic of our new bathroom. the one that i've been working hard on for 3 months. i had friends do the drywall and plumbing and another friend did the tile(slate). i did most of the finishing work. we're going to work on the other bathroom after the baby is born.

Making Progress!

We're finally making some real progress. the baby's room is clean and ready to go. our room is clean and ready. We set up the crib, bassinet, stroller, etc. Tired but not defeated, got more to do but we feel better now. Oh yeah, i finally finished the masterbath.
