Halloween!

it was ethan's first halloween and we decided to dress him as a monkey. i think it was fitting for him, since he acts like one right now. he crawls all over the place and he can stand for a few seconds now. this little monkey is growing up fast! check out his dad's scary pumpkin. that's trey next to ethan. he had an awesome stormtrooper costume that his mom found.

Ethan-8 months

ethan made 8 months this past saturday(yesterday). and he's getting to be really rascal now. he found his crawling skills a few months ago and he's getting faster at it. he's always been curious, so crawling and curious mixed together means alot of running around for mom and dad. he went to his first gymboree class on saturday and he had so much fun. in fact, ethan had so much fun that we signed him up for more classes. we'll see how it goes. gymboree is good for exposing him to new environments and to start him socializing with other kids. we found out that he's not shy, he had no problem approaching the teacher and mingling with the other kids. he really liked all the balls, seeing bubbles and playing under the parachute. oh yeah, he got another haircut too. more reports to come later.

Ethan makes 6 months today!

ethan is 6 months old today. since the last post he's now eating solid foods and can roll all over the place. he's beginning to sit upright and just had his first haircut. ethan's mom didn't like his hair in his eyes so she had his bangs trimmed a little bit. one last thing, everything goes into his mouth, and i mean everything.

New Toy

we were lucky to get a new toy from our neighbor. they have a 1 1/2 year old boy and has outgrown some things. they gave us a bouncer that ethan seems to really like. really, really like.... check out the video and see for yourself.

4th of July

we saw the fireworks display from kaimana beach in waikiki this year. it was ethan's first 4th and he came prepared with his new hat and cool shades. he actually didn't mind wearing his sunglasses this time, maybe because it was so bright there. it was a potluck with garlic chicken, musubi's, zippy's chili, shoyu hotdog, watermelon and so much more. sarah made a really good cake and stacy made ginger tea for everyone. too bad ethan couldn't eat anything, he missed out. he'll be chowing down next year for sure.

Ethan-4 months

ethan is now 4 months old. he's over 24 inches and almost 15 lbs. doctor said he's progressing well and is a very good baby. he's starting to roll over now, almost all the time. so mom and dad have to be on their toes a little more. can't imagine what it's going to be like when he starts to crawl! as he grows up, many are saying he looks more like dad than mom now. we think he looks a little like the both of us, depending on the angle. oh yeah, he's been sleeping 8-9-10 hours a night for the past month half now. so lucky!!!! check out the pics and vid

Baptism

ethan was baptized catholic on sunday june 7th. luckily, he was wide awake and was a good boy during the event. the choo's and suzuki's were all there. uncle mark is his godfather and aunty mary is his godmother.
