6-26-11 ethan can dance

we had a bbq with our cousins this past saturday. Rene and Patty and Nicholas and Michaela were there and also Kalani Nakashima. kalani just graduated from high school and will be attending stanford this upcoming year. ethan was having fun as usual, then jumped in randomly to dance with rene and kalani's friend brandon. the boy got some moves and rhythm! i didn't even know he could do this at 2yrs and 4months. kinda funny, check out the video.

2011 update

it's been awhile since i posted and alot has been going on with the suzuki's. ethan is almost 2 yrs now and he can say a whole bunch of new words. he still says "mop" once in awhile, fyi that's how he says mom. but the other week he started saying "amma" for grandma, and "apa" for papa. we're trying to teach him grandpa now. his all time favorite word is "BIG" and "BUS". and now "BIG BUS". i guess he really likes buses.

Halloween 2010

ethan was a pirate this year for halloween. mom's choice. turned out to be a good one because he didn't mind wearing it. the night before he wouldn't wear his hat. but didn't mind the hat during halloween. mom added a little facial hair makeup too. we went to kahala mall this year and they run things there pretty smooth and organized. might try regular trick or treating next year.

19 months old

it's been awhile since i posted, ethan is growing up fast now. he's approaching 20 months old and is a rascal little boy. or a typical little boy i should say. he can say some words now, like: dad, mom, shoes, up, hot and he just started saying ant. we're trying to get him to say, grandma, grandpa, papa, aunty. he just came back from vegas and we found out that he really really likes hotel rooms. he goes crazy, jumping on the bed screaming and yelling, banging on the window to look outside. he seems to be learning or picking up new things every week. it's been a lot of fun watching him grow up.

Ethan's 1st Birthday Party

it's been awhile since the last post. ethan's BIG birthday party is now behind us. which he had a lot of fun at. seems like he knew it was actually his party, weird. that kid is funny and keeping us on our toes for sure.

Ethan is 1 year old!

ethan turned 1 year on 2-24-10. time flys by as a parent. he making some noises that kinda sound like words but we're not sure yet. he went to the doctors the day after his birthday and had a very good checkup. he did great with his 5 shots. cried a little but forgot about it quick. his doctor said he's making progress in his height. hopefully he can keep that up so he can be taller than his dad. grandma and papa choo got him a cake and that's ethan with frosting on his hand(pic). big birthday coming in april.
